About Dockapps.org
This site was created by the same team that maintains
windowmaker.org, and it answers the need for a central
location to locate and download dockapps. Haven't you been through
the experience of re-installing a system, only to spend
hours hunting around for "the good ones"? You're not alone!
While it is (usually) not impossible to find the most popular
dockapps on the web (sites like
Ben Sinclair's DockApp
Warehouse do a good job), or even find binary versions for a
specific platform, many links lead to dead web sites or abandoned projects.
We hope that dockapps.org can become the definitive one stop shop for
new and existing dockapps, and help foster continued development for these
tiny, but ever so useful applications. We are glad to be able to offer
this important resource to the community, and hope that dockapp developers
and users alike will join the dockapp community by using and contributing.
