Wow, this is really a cool clock program. To get it working in Debian/unstable, you need to:
apt-get install libgdk-pixbuf-gnome-dev
doesn't work on gentoo
i emerged this cool looking clock but after starting it only a small black window appears.. without any content.. gdk-pixbuf is installed ...

gentoo -> execute it as :
$spaceclock theme_name.theme
theme_names is one of the files listed after typing in following:
ls /usr/share/spaceclock
i am using :
"spaceclock radar.theme"
to run it ;) good luck ;)
This is really cool. Much better than other analog clocks that I had seen.
Thanks
I'm also using radar theme. Very cool clock!
If you don't want a second hand, edit one of the *.hands files and change the "seconds" section to something like:
second_hand
exact true
end
I editted "floating_tick.hands" to not have a second hand, then saved as "no_second.hands". Then you can change theme files to use "no_second.hands". It's less distracting to the eye this way, and saves CPU power.
