Add a new Version of this Dockapp
You may add a new (or even old) version of this dockapp by using
the link above. This way we can be sure that this application will
be available even if the project's homepage goes down (did that ever
happen to you? :)).

edit 2 lines in configure.ac
you should change 2 lines in your configure.ac to make it possible to run ./configure. (because there is no src/main.c avaiable)
i simply changed it to src/dockapp.c and run aclocal, autoheader and autoconf again.
then it should be possible to make a ./configure
btw: for my system wmthrottle should run as root, otherwise i get a segmentation fault.
segmentation fault
i'm getting a segmentation fault here too if wmthrottle is not running with setuid root ...
guess this behavior is because you cannot change throttling as a normal user ...
besides that - nice dockapp
screen updates
This is a pretty sweet app.
I dont know much about coding GUIs but is there a way that the window can update itself? it seems that i have to 'manually' make the window redraw to get updates (either minimize it or put another window on top of it).
is there a way i can add a simple line in the main.c that says "REDRAW"?
other than that though... seriously well done.
some enhancements
I made some interesting enhancements (automatic control of throttling via cpu temperature + acpi/performance interface for centrino and others) to wmthrottle. Find the updated version
at
http://www-lehre.inf.uos.de/~rfreund/acpi
Walter, for redrawing problems: try the -bw switch when starting wmthrottle.
Some enhancements
As the original Author I can endorse the changes to this product. I am working on integrating them into the release version. With full credit to Rob.
some enhancements - moved
The above page (http://www-lehre.inf.uos.de/~rfreund/acpi) and enhanced version has moved to http://rffr.de/acpi
