hmm, good work :)
Good, but...
I've used it a while, but now I have a dual cpu system. Perhaps support for dual cpu's should be added?
At a loss...
Compiled without an error, and wmcpuload &, it's not ruuning without any type of error message.
I am running RHL 9, gcc-3.2.2-5, wmkaer-0.80.1
Any suggestions?
RHL9 ?
change your linux system ! =)
No problem
me running on redhat 9,gcc-3.2.2-5, wmaker-0.80.2 without any problem. thanks to the author for this great dockapp.

Dual CPUs
Ken:
wmcpuload --help
-c,--cpu which CPU is monitored (0, 1, ... )
You have to run one per CPU if you want multiprocessor 'support'... other CPU monitor support dual in one screen, but typically don't look as awesome as this one, and don't support the l33t alarm feature.

problems with 2.6 kernel?
Running the 2.6 kernel, I get the error message: "Can't find cpu N!" or if I run it without specifying a cpu, it doesn't actually monitor anything.
Re: problems with 2.6 kernel?
Could you send me your /proc/stat and 'uname -a' command results?
Using WMaker 0.80.1 (with manual window placement enabled) and WMCPULoad 1.0.1, starting wmcpuload without any parameters will still require manual window placement. Shouldn't it start as an icon as soon as it starts, regardless of whether the wm is configured for manual placement or not?
A bit annoying when wmcpuload is set to "start when window maker is started". When wm starts, an extra click is required to iconify wmcpuload.
workaround patch http://www.cit.uws.edu.au/~jcrescin/misc/wmcpuload-1.0.1-vino-1.diff"> here.
oops. here's that link again: http://www.cit.uws.edu.au/~jcrescin/misc/wmcpuload-1.0.1-vino-1.diff
Works great
on Debian woody. Ah nice.
Just a note
The man file installs in the wrong place (easily fixed) and you'll need libdockapp (Debian users: use apt-get)
Change color
How can I change the colors?
tnx
Nice one!
It is really cool. Thanks!
Looks nice, but...
I've found it greatly overstates the load - for example, sometimes when the load is < 20% (as shown by top) it reports 100%
pb on linux
On my system, cpu numbers in /proc/stat can be bigger that INT_MAX. unsigned int should be used in cpu_linux.c instead of int (that's what is used in the kernel to write the file).
