Add a new Version of this Dockapp
You may add a new (or even old) version of this dockapp by using
the link above. This way we can be sure that this application will
be available even if the project's homepage goes down (did that ever
happen to you? :)).

doesn't work with freebsd
see title 8(
doesn't work on Mandrake Linux 9.0
Could not install on Mandrake Linux 9.0 running Windowmaker. Build failed when trying to compile, missing the include file X11/xpm.h. I counldn't find this file anywhere on my system.
install libxpm4-devel-3.4k-21mdk.i586.rpm
very useful
Useful little dockapp.
BTW, user above, works fine in Mandrake if you install the XPM-devel package, which isn't installed by default on mandrake. That should solve most of your dockapp compiling problems.
Cool
It's pretty cool, but I had to modify the code a bit to get it to work....
no matter what I did, the ~/.X.err file couldn't be found... probably because /home/me/../../../dev/console doesn't exist... so now it checks out /var/log/syslog :)
NoBody
Neat program and quite handy, just needed to create .X.err and .xsession-errors in correct path to get prog to work.
Excellent!
Really excellent!
Works like a charm on my RedHat 9 box.
Good job. Thanks.
Awesme DockApp!
I've accualy been looking for a dockapp that does _EXACTLY_ what this one does. Had to twiddle the source a bit so it looked at the files I wanted(I have no ~/.X.err or /var/log/warn ), but other than that, this is perfect.
Suse has lmlib2, which says it is better than libXpm, but I don't know if it could be used instead of it.
